Synergies for innovative disinfection concepts
Three entrepreneurs Tom Goldschmidt, Markus Thamm and Cornelius Geist have founded VIRODIS to use the synergies of their knowledge. The aim is to increase health safety for everyone with innovative products for everyday use coupled with intelligent disinfection concepts.
Thomas Goldschmidt
Thomas Goldschmidt is from England and studied electronics and computer development in Manchester. After graduation, he became involved in computer design, CAD, CAT and the automatic computerized manufacturing of test systems and technical support.
In his further career, he has held positions of authority in many different companies around the world, dealing mainly with the establishment of technical services, sales/marketing, the establishment of foreign organizations, and management duties. In the last 15 years he has worked as a consultant in various technically oriented companies in development, marketing, and sales.
Mr. Goldschmidt is founder of three companies in microtechnology.
Markus Thamm
Markus Thamm gained his first experiences in the field of development and design at Litef in Freiburg for navigation instruments directly after his studies as Dipl. Ing. (FH) in the field of precision engineering. In 1993 he started his career in technical sales and marketing together with Tom Goldschmidt at Advantek in Freiburg.
Mr. Thamm was subsequently responsible for establishing several international sales, marketing, and service organizations. The different products gave him a broad and very profound insight into required technologies. During his career Mr. Thamm founded several organizations including his own consulting company Salcon International in 2006.
In 2021 Mr. Thamm founded VIRODIS GmbH together with the two partners to offer own products for innovative disinfection concepts in public and private life and to market them application oriented.
Cornelius Geist
Cornelius Geist started his own business while still at school and founded etg-elektronik GmbH directly after graduating in 2001. As a graduate engineer in the field of electromechanical design, he manages the company with a focus on medical technology and semiconductors.
Mr. Geist gained extensive experience in development, testing and approval of medical devices, development, testing and manufacturing of products for application in microelectronics. As an entrepreneur and interim CEO, he draws on know-how and experience in business process analysis, human resource management, development project management, quality management (ISO 9001 and 13485 medical devices) and startups.
In 2021 Mr. Geist founded VIRODIS GmbH together with the two partners to offer own products for innovative disinfection concepts in public and private life and to market them application oriented.
