VIRODIS hand and surface disinfection
In contrast to the alcoholic disinfectants that have emerged from history, the hand and surface disinfectant works without alcoholic ingredients, does not contain preservatives and is biodegradable.
The active ingredient, which is also produced by our body’s own immune system, has been dermatologically confirmed (all tested products “very good”. Tested on the skin of healthy individuals). Thanks to the ingredients, the hand and surface disinfectant was awarded the BIOzert seal. The products are easy to use. After application, the product simply decomposes into its natural components of water and salt.
The series of hand and surface disinfectants offers fast-acting water-based disinfection for application in drinking water according to DIN EN 901, processed water according to DIN EN 13632, surfaces, food and packaging areas, nebulization, and other areas of application.
The products are free of alcohol, aldehydes, and fragrances.

The disinfecting component of the viroids solution, which is also intrinsic to our own immune system in the monocytes, breaks the envelope membrane of viruses, bacteria etc. and oxidizes them.
In this way, germs, fungi, and viruses are destroyed quickly and effectively, but above all reliably and permanently. This mode of action is special because common alcohol-based agents only “stun” germs and viruses, rendering them harmless but not completely removing them. No resistance development is formed against the virodis hand and surface disinfectant.
Disinfection
- The hand and surface disinfectant is a ready-to-use, liquid, clear solution.
- Wet surfaces and objects are evenly and completely- (up to 50ml/sqm), wiped with disposable cloth if necessary and allow to dry. Rinsing with water is not necessary. Any remaining product residues are harmless, from a toxicological point of view.
- DL-19 is tested according to European standards EN 13697, EN 14349, EN 14885, EN 16438, EN 16777, EN 14476, DGHM, VAH standards.
- The product can be used as a wipe disinfectant, spray disinfectant and by means of cold nebulization.
- The specified exposure times ensure full effectiveness against bacteria, viruses, spores, and yeasts, even if mechanical post-cleaning by means of a disposable wipe is dispensed with.
Application
The hand and surface disinfectant spray can be sprayed several times on hands, surfaces, shower, toilet, furniture, floors, animal baskets or utensils, among others.
Skin:
- 5 sprays (approx. 2 – 3 ml)
- rub dry on the skin
- Exposure time approx. 1 minute
Surfaces:
- 5 sprays (approx. 2 – 3 ml)
- Apply to surfaces and wipe until dry
- Reaction time approx. 1 minute
- Not suitable for use on unsealed metal surfaces
Do not mix with other substances
Drinking water
The hand and surface disinfectants are added to the drinking water in proportion to the volume of approx. 0.1%. It eliminates all aquatic germs and breaks down the existing biofilm in the drinking water network. Only in this way the MBS (microbiological sanitation) becomes sustainable.
Labeling (according to GefStVo not applicable)
The product is not a hazardous substance according to the Ordinance on Hazardous Substances. However, the precautionary measures applicable when handling chemicals should be observed. Observe batch number and expiration date as noted on the packaging.
Disposal
The product can be disposed of in the sewage system if sufficiently diluted. The respective country-specific waste and wastewater regulations must be observed. After emptying and rinsing with water, plastic containers can be taken to the appropriate recyclable materials depots.
Storage
Keep containers tightly closed. Store in a cool place and protected from light.
